Most of the time spent at a till goes on hunting for barcodes. The item is upside down, so you turn it. The label is creased, so you flatten it. RFID removes those steps: the items go on the counter and all of them are read at once.
The compact desktop unit fits the counter you already have and integrates with your POS software. The same reader is used for parcel verification in warehousing and logistics.
