RFID Library Label
An RFID label for books and archive material, turning issue, return and stocktaking into a single read.
- One read for issue and return
- Several items read simultaneously
- Theft prevention with door antennas
- Integrates with library management systems

The bottleneck in library automation is usually the desk. Finding and scanning a barcode on every item takes time, and the return queue grows out of exactly that.
With RFID, several items are read at once. Shelf counting is done by walking the aisle, and antennas at the door catch material leaving without being issued. The same setup covers wine archives and special collections, where shelf order matters as much as it does in a library.
