A fixed reader is the only setup that does not depend on someone remembering to scan. The pallet passes the door and the read happens on its own.
Four antenna ports cover one door from both sides, or two narrow passages from a single unit. Antenna placement is what shapes the read zone, so angle, power and trigger logic are set per site.
